2/3 Southern Comfort
1/3 dry vermouth
dash Angostura bittersStir with ice and strain into glass. Add cherry.

I love that ad! Really, I can imagine Peggy and Don Draper laboring over that ad, swilling down cocktails! Drink enough Manhattans and you can skip dinner altogether...
