Vintage ad warning against the threat of Communism
19 years ago today, East Germany announced that its citizens would be permitted to cross the Berlin Wall into West Berlin. There would be no gunfire, no snarling dogs and no reprisals. Until 9/11, watching the Berlin Wall fall on TV was the most surreal moment in history most of in the West had ever seen.
I'm guessing this ad is from the 1950s.
