I've seen so many of these awful vintage ads for feminine deodorants, but they still have the power to shock me.
The first ad actually impies that the young woman's underwear smells so bad her friends will notice.

In some respects, women are still being told they stink in less blatant ways. I still see ads for "feminine wash" and "feminine wipes".
