If you click the above image to enlarge it, you'll see that the model's crow's feet were not airbrushed out. Sadly, today those wrinkles would be seen as a blemish and obliterated with photoshopping.

The teeth on two of those are not making them believable as smokers. Although that last one has the skin and hair to pull it off.

I agree with Mel. The model with the crow's feet looks most authentic for a smoker.

Thanks for the memories for I grew up in convenience store selling cigarettes and I remember some of these old advertisements.
