I remember when patches were popular back in the 70s and a lot of them had pretty lame sayings, but none were that stupid.

My Mom only allowed me to sew one patch on one pair of jeans, and it said "kiss my patch." I'm still surprised but it must have seemed tame to her considering the times.
I also remember my brother's girlfriend ironing her hair straight (under wax paper) at our house before a date because her own mom wouldn't let her.
