File this under shameless bragging.
My husband, Gary John Reynolds, just finished this drawing.
How many of these robots can you name? Answers are below.
Lower left corner: Tobor (the reverse anagram of 'robot') from 1954's, Tobor the Great.
Upper left corner: nameless robot from 1954's Devil Girl from Mars; in front of him is Robby the Robot, originally designed to appear in 1956's Forbidden Planet, the Robby the Robot costume was later reused in a few other movies and TV shows; in front of Robbie is The Robot from the TV show, Lost in Space, which aired 1965 - 1968; and in the lower right corner is Rosie the Robot Maid from the cartoon series, The Jetsons, which aired on Sunday nights, from 1962 - 1963.
The dog-like robot is Space Dog, a tin Japanese wind-toy that debuted in the 1950s; and last but not least, behind Space Dog is Conky from the TV show, Pee Wee's Playhouse, which aired from 1986 - 1990.
What's the robot in the bottom left corner?
