First, note that children wear clothes for a relatively shorter time than adults do because they are growing. Therefore, clothes that fit them this year may not fit them in the next year because they may have gotten smaller. The way to deal with this is to buy clothes that are slightly larger than the child is so that they will not get shorter or thinner as the child grows.
