1952 ad for new "flesh-colored" Band-Aids bandages

They even paid for a two-color ad so you could see how pink the "flesh-colored" bandages were, leaving no doubt as to whose flesh they were referring.

Ugh, I never liked wearing band-aids. Why couldn't the just make them clear?
