I know it's dangerous to be blogging about my cats two days in a row, let alone posting photos of them, but I'm going to do it anyway.
*******************************
I told you about PetSmart's birthday celebration yesterday. I forgot to mention the celebratory bandannas they were giving away.
Who can resist a free bandanna?
Clockwise from upper left: Buddy; Sally; Sylvester; and the intenstinally-challenged Floyd.
I have to buy stupidly expensive cat food because one of our cats has a "sensitive stomach." And only PetSmart carries giant bags of the cat food that prevents our Floyd from experiencing "stomach distress."
This week, I discovered that PetSmart is celebrating its birthday. Not its anniversary but its birthday. And they're giving out goodie bags. This is one of the things that was in the goodie bag.
Of course, I'm referring to the bag of Friskies Party Mix.
PARTY MIX.
For cats.
They named a cat snack after a really yummy people snack.
Normally, I would be appalled. But I really love Chex Party Mix so I think it's kind of funny that our cats now have their own Party Mix
Except Floyd. He can't have any or he'll get explosive "stomach distress."
Let's get something straight. I love animals. But I hate cutesy-wootsy photos of them.
Nevertheless, when I came across this insert tucked into my Sunday morning newspaper, amid a pile of ugly coupon ads and six sections of mostly bad news, this little guy made me laugh out loud.
If I were a small dog owner, I would definitely have felt the urge to use the coupon on the back.
Points off for sloppy photoshopping
Look at the tines of the fork. They're not attached to anything. (Click image to enlarge.)
I'm out of town for a week, but I have programmed some ads to post while I'm away.

The artist behind Gallery of the Absurd has posted her wonderfully twisted vision of what celebrity brands of dog food might look like.
