An angry and only occasionally observant man wrote NBC an angry letter thinking the media company had altered its peacock logo to include rainbow colors:
Your changing your station logo with the colors of gays is a disgrace. Just stay out of it… Your integrity is ruined… ABC KATV is my choice in the future for all Little Rock station viewing… Shame on you!
By the way, the NBC peacock logo has looked like this since 1986.

I log on to see what my friends' homes are worth.
Even more fun (because I know it would piss them off if they knew), I check out how much the homes of people I don't like are worth.
And I like to check prices of homes in areas where I might want to retire. Which brought me to this listing in Pinellas County, Florida.

Fashion photographer Terry Richardson has been accused of all kinds of professional sexual impropriety. None of which stopped Valentino from hiring him to photograph the fashion house's Fall 2014 accessories campaign and put himself (his hand, actually) in the campaign.
When you see the women of the Dove Real Beauty campaign beside the Victoria's Secret models, it's a lot easier to the effects of photoshopping on the Victoria Secret models.
They look rather human-like.
And that's the problem.
Human-like isn't good enough.
One Million Moms is a Conservative organization that, among other things, gets its panties in a twist every time a major advertiser shows gay people in its advertising. They must really hate this new spot for Honey Maid.
It's a very inclusive commercial. There's a gay couple and their sons. An interracial straight couple and their kids. A young dad who's covered in tattoos.
This Honey Maid spot manages to be really nice without venturing into sappy. I really like it.

And can we give Honey Maid extra props for focusing on dads? Not that there's anything wrong with moms, it's just that most parents depicted in advertising are mothers. It's refreshing to see an advertiser show extra appreciation for fathers.
