Lake Superior State University has released it's 37th annual List of Words Banished from the Queen's English for Misuse, Overuse and General Uselessness.
This year's banished words are:
Amazing
Baby Bump
Shared Sacrifice
Occupy
Blowback
Man Cave
The New Normal
Pet Parent
Win The Future
Trickeration
Ginormous
Thank You In Advance
I'm guilty of overusing 'amazing' and 'ginormous.'
And, not being a football fan, I had to look up trickeration'.
Awesome should have been very top of the list !
