According to Silicon Republic:
Dutch airliner KLM is going to allow its passengers to pre-book their seats by scanning Facebook and LinkedIn so they can pair up with the person who most takes their fancy before they take flight. It could be a new era for online dating and business networking, taking it to the skies.
KLM is calling the new service "Meet & Seat."
Malaysia Airlines has a similar service in the works.
Fortunately, one will have to opt-in to use the service. (Guess which curmudgeonly blogger will most certainly not be opting in.)
Timely- I am taking a transatlantic flight on KLM today
I won't be opting in either, too creepy!!

Competition is stiff but this is absurd; I guess all the ugly and/or non business people will have be shunted together. I'll probably prefer them anyway.
