Bon Ami powder cleanser has redesigned its packaging to better communicate the brand's environmental friendliness -- no phosphates, no chlorine, no other harsh chemicals.
The company is keeping its iconic chick and tag line, "Hasn't scratched yet."

I have to admit, I have always percieved Bon Ami as being incredibly corrosive and high-powered, not "Green" at all, and I think that was because of the metallic packaging. I think this brown-paper design communicates a much more environment-friendly message.

I think I always thought of it as European, because of the name. The new packaging seems contemporary American.
