The Credit Card Act of 2009 is now in effect so consumers have some measure of protection from what many considered unethical credit practices.
Somewhat odd practices, however, are still allowed.
Walletpop has an article that lists ten things you shouldn't pay for with your credit card or it may hurt your ability to be approved for a new credit card:
- Traffic tickets
- Retreading tires
- Bargain binges
- Sex toys
- Marriage counseling
- Lottery tickets
- Cash advances
- Spa treatments and other personal indulgences
- Income taxes
- Alcohol
Here's a tip for your readers. Always make sure that the sex shop you visit lists themselves as something non obvious. E.G. "Western Sales and Dry Goods INC". Most good ones do.
Then there's no problemo picking up that jelly rabbit :).

lol, if I can't buy sex toys, alcohol, or get cash advances with my credit card then i really don't need a credit card!

well if your buying online you should pay thru credit card, but if your buying on a sex store just pay them in cash.

Agree with the Toy Dawg. What good is a credit card if you don't use it for sex toys and booze. :)
