This ran in Fortune in 2005. The copy for this ad reads:
Imagine a World Without Her
What would you do? How would you manage? Caring for a child or elderly parent, cleaning the house, driving the kids to soccer practice, cooking meals.
A recent study concluded that the value of the things she does can be as much as $43, 461 per year, not including overtime . . .
2005 wasn't THAT long ago.

More moms are staying at home b/c of the recession. The approach makes sense, the execution, not so much.

Absolutely, the work done by women who don't work outside the home is intrinsically valuable. It would require a considerable amount of money to hire someone to do all that work. It's just that the copy in this ad is so godawful!

The copy is okay but the presentation is retro. I'd respond if I lived in the Midwest, but the image is out of sync, plus is references someone who is not in the image.
