Have you noticed how unattractive most plastic surgery advertising is?

You would think people who are promoting a service related to aesthetics would know enough to insist on communications materials that are exceptionally well designed and attractive. Yet, that's usually not the case with advertising for plastic surgeons' offices.

    This is a charming exception.

These cups are impeccably designed and even witty -- one wouldn't assume wittiness would be appropriate for a service that requires cutting one's face open, yet it works very well here.

It would be interesting to know how these paper cups were used. Presumably, they weren't just used to hand coffee to patients in the waiting area.

    Addendum (posted 7 May 2007)

If you REALLY like the idea of these paper cups, you can now purchase them at The Spoon Sisters. Called Pick Your Nose party cups, they come in packs of 24 12-ounce cups for $8.75.
